NormaTec PULSE Recovery Systems work by providing pneumatic compression to aid in rehabilitation and recovery. All our systems use NormaTec’s patented PULSE tech to aid in athletes’ recovery after performing and between training/practices.
The device(control unit and attachments) goes on the legs, providing compressed air to massage limbs, increase blood flow, and hasten recovery. Using the patented Normatec Pulse Massage Pattern, you may initially experience a pre-inflate cycle. This allows the attachments to mold to your specific body shape. Then, when the session starts, the compressions may begin at your feet, upper quad, or hands depending on the attachment in use. It’s similar to kneading and other massage techniques. These compressions will occur at each segment of the attachment.
